Monitoring that sees what your users see
UptimeGrid runs independent probe nodes in multiple regions. Each node checks your endpoints on its own schedule, so a regional outage shows up as a regional outage — not a single blind average.
How it works
Every monitor is a small recurring check: an HTTP request, a TCP connect, or a DNS lookup. Probe nodes run these checks from where your traffic actually comes from and report response time, status code, and certificate health back to the aggregator. When two independent nodes agree a service is down, an incident opens automatically.
The grid
This page is served by probe node de1 in the eu-central region. It is one of several nodes that together form the grid. Each node is fully autonomous — if the aggregator is unreachable, a node keeps measuring and buffers results until the link recovers.

Two-node agreement opens an incident. No noisy single-probe false alarms.

Availability target
The monitoring control plane targets 99.9% monthly availability. Probe nodes are stateless and replaceable; losing one degrades coverage in a single region but never takes down the grid. Measurement data is retained for 90 days on the public tier and 13 months on paid tiers.
